Members of the Osmond Senior Citizens are participating in News Channel Nebraska’s “StretchAcross Nebraska” health initiative. NCN’s contest involves residents submitting photos of active, healthy and creative stretches. Weekly winners are chosen, and the winners may designate a $500 donation to a local school. The Osmond group has been doing the stretches twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. Rita Aschoff got the group started with the stretching program, which she did with care center residents when she worked as activities director at Osmond General hospital.
