Stolpe named to NEN All Star Football Classic Red Team

Andrew Carlson, president of the Northeast Nebraska All Star Football Classic Board of Directors, has an- nounced the coaches, officials, and player rosters for the 2026 game. Chris Koozer of Norfolk Public and Johnnie Ostermeyer of Crofton have been named head coaches for the 13th Red vs. White Northeast Nebraska All Star Football Classic.

The game will be held on Friday, June 12, at Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk with kickoff slated at 7 p.m.

Carlson said his board of directors is extremely excited with the selection of coaches for the 2026 game. “The Northeast all star game is excited to have this excellent group of coaches for this year’s game. They have done an outstanding job of selecting their roster and plan on having a fun week for their respective teams. We hope all the players, families and fans of northeast Nebraska continue to have a great experience with this game, as there are so many talented players and passionate fans in northeast Nebraska.”

The White Team’s head coach Chris Koozer commented, “I’m honored for the opportunity to coach some of the top talent from northeast Nebraska. I am also excited to coach with some really good coaches from around the area. It will be a great experience.”

Joining Koozer on the White side will be Matt Skiff and Ken Swanson (Norfolk), Ryan Miller (Lyons-Decatur Northeast), Dalton Tremayne (West Point-Beemer), and Kalin Koch from Twin River.

Johnnie Ostermeyer, head coach of the Red Team said, “I am deeply honored to be selected as the head coach for the Northeast Nebraska All-Star Football Classic. This game is more than just a competition; it’s a meaningful opportunity for outstanding athletes from across the region to proudly represent their schools and communities with unique talents alongside peers from all classifica tions.”

Joining Ostermeyer on the Red sideline will be John Connot (Crofton), Jaxson Kant (Lutheran High Northeast), Andy Osborne (West Holt), Tyler Legate (Pierce) and Jon Baue (Wausa-Osmond).

Officials for the 2026 All Star game will be Referee Larry Wells, Umpire Jordan Wells, Linesman Travis Baumann, Line Judge Kyle Finke, Back Judge Shane Anderson.

The player rosters for the game have also been announced.

Red Team players include Tate Stolpe of the Wausa-Osmond team.

Other area players on the Red Team include: Hayden Bauer, Bryce Lindstrom, Christian Nordby and Boston Krueger of Pierce, and Brock Jean- noutot and Cody Smith of Bloomfield.
