Osmond Speech Night is a success
OSMOND — Osmond Speech Night, held on Thursday, March 5, was once again a great success. The award-winning speech team members, most recently the Lewis & Clark Conference runner-up, gave outstanding performances.
Held in three separate rooms at Osmond Community School, the performances were split between the music room, multipurpose room and lunch room. The duets and OID groups then gave the final performances in the lunch room.
Speeches included: Easton Steinkraus and Donovan Heiman, entertainment; Piper Hoffman, Katarina Miller and Addison Miller, Persuasive; Erin Aschoff and Adalyn Koehler, Program Oral Interpretation; Jade Halsey, informative; Clara Steinkraus, Michael Fritz and Justin Rohloff, HP; Meagan Wagner and Kenley Friedrich, SP; Neveah Newton, POE; Evynn Kumm and Clara Steinkraus, Meagan Wagner and Donovan Heiman, and Piper Hoffman and Jack Berg, duets; and the OID teams — Evynn Kumm, Clara Steinkraus, Kenley Friedrich, Ava Kumm and Katarina Miller; Erin Aschoff, Meagan Wagner, Kaleigh Miller and Donovan Heiman.
Osmond will attend districts on Monday, March 16, in Wayne, with a total of 19 entries competing for a chance to qualify for the state speech meet in Kearney on Saturday, March 28.
