Osmond speech team is conference runner-up
The Osmond speech team was very busy the last few days, competing in the Creighton meet Saturday and in the conference meet Monday, where they came home with the runner-up plaque.
Creighton Meet
The speech team competed at Creighton on Saturday, March 7. Creighton had 22 teams and 270 entries for the day. The Osmond team finished in third place overall.

The Lewis and Clark Conference speech meet was held on Monday, March 9, at Emerson. Osmond received the runner-up plaque behind the champion, Wausa.

The top three finishers in each event will qualify for the state speech meet in Kearney on Saturday, March 28. Osmond will be taking a total of 19 entries to district competition.
