A group of kids, out of school for spring break, pause at the corner of State and Fourth streets during their ride around town on Friday. The weather was pretty nice on Friday, especially compared to the blizzard conditions on Sunday. The blizzard didn’t result in much snow, but what it did drop here caused drifting and poor visibility. Classes on Monday were canceled for the day. Residents woke to a temperature of 2° on Monday morning, with a high of only 23°. The good news is, the temps will continue to rise this week, reaching the 70s Wednesday and Thursday, and into the 80s by Friday, just in time for the first day of Spring! That's Nebraska for you!
