NORFOLK — Weather permitting, construction of the new 4-lane expressway was set to begin Monday, March 30, on U.S. Highway 275 (US-275), from Wisner to West Point North, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Graham Construction, of Valley, is the contractor for this project. Work includes grading, culverts, paving, and bridge construction on the nearly 12-mile section of roadway. Anticipated completion is September 2028.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
