OSMOND — The Osmond track and field teams started workouts on Monday, March 2. While for the most part, the weather has been unseasonably warm providing the opportunity for many beautiful outdoor workouts, there has also been a solid mix of cold windy days, allowing the teams to spend time working on technique and footwork indoors.
This year’s boys’ team is led by four returning letter winners: senior Jack Miller; juniors Kaleb Gardner and Mason True, and sophomore Easton Steinkraus. Other members of the boys’ team include freshman Trenton Wiseley.
The Lady Tigers are also led by four returning letter winners: senior Cari- anna Kumm; junior Deanna Kumm, and sophomores Korrine Moes and
Adyson Poellot. Other members of the Lady Tigers track team include: senior Kaleigh Miller; junior Addison Miller, and freshmen Kenley Fried-
rich, Sunny Geneski, Adalyn Koehler, Ava Kumm, Evynn Kumm, Katarina Miller, Nevaeh Newton, Siris Stanton and Clara Steinkraus.
The coaching staff includes head coach Jessica Evans and assistants Brian Guenther and Bradley Wright.
The team started the season at Wayne State College on Saturday, March 21, in the Wildcat Dome/Dr. Ron Holt Track and Field on the 300-meter synthetic track surface.
