(By Coach Dante Schmit) The Osmond golf team will begin its 2026 season in the coming weeks, bringing back a strong nucleus of players and a positive outlook for the year ahead.
The Tigers’roster includes returning letter winners Kooper Gubbels, Dawson Gansebom and Meagan Wagner, along with teammate Nickolas Kumm. The group has shown steady progress in early practices, with an emphasis on improvement and working together as a team.
Coaches have been pleased with the effort and attitude shown so far, as players continue to build consistency and prepare for competition. The team’s experience, combined with a willingness to learn and compete, has created optimism heading into the season.
Osmond will open play April 6 at Plainview in a quadrangular meet. The Tigers will return to Plainview on April 11 for tournament action as they begin the early portion of their schedule.
With a small but dedicated roster, Osmond will look to compete well and continue improving throughout the season. The Tigers are eager to get underway and represent their school on the course this spring.
