OSMOND - St. Mary's Catholic School, which will be holding its first communion ceremony with Plainview, had a candle prayer service on Saturday, March 28. That day, the communicants also made chalices and their banners to commemorate the occasion.
The students will receive their first communion on Sunday, April 19, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. There will be 16 communicants: Baker Alexander, Maryn Anderson, Kenna Clausen, Tori Dick, Heidi Geneski, Dean Krienert, Kyzr Rice, Madelynn Sauser, Breckyn Stec, Aubrey Stech, Serena Stech, Zella Timmerman, Maddux Torrey, Payton Wilson, McKenzie Yilk and Max Zuhlke.
