Judith Stanton appointed executive director of economic development for Pierce County

PIERCE COUNTY — Pierce County Economic Development (PCED) is pleased to announce the appointment of Judith Stanton, MBA, as the new executive director of economic development for Pierce County, serving the communities of Pierce, Plainview, Osmond and Hadar. Judith Stanton brings extensive experience in economic development, grant administration, and strategic leadership to the role. She is the owner and CEO of Grant Administration & Consulting, LLC, where she provides professional grant writing, grant award monitoring, and compliance services to public and private organizations. Stanton will continue her work with Grant Administration & Consulting, LLC, while also supporting countywide economic development initiatives for Pierce County. Stanton was highly recommended for the position by Chad Anderson, city administrator of Pierce, and Jeremy Tarr, city administrator of Plainview, based on her proven leadership, grant expertise, and commitment to community-focused economic development.

In her role as executive director, Stanton will focus on fostering economic growth, strengthening partnerships, supporting local governments and organizations, and aligning economic development strategies with long-term community goals across Pierce County.

“Judith’s expertise in grants, economic strategy, and community development makes her an excellent fit for this role," said PCED leadership. "Her experience and passion for rural communities will be instrumental in advancing economic vitality throughout Pierce County.”

Stanton is passionate about building beautiful communities and supporting them through a vision centered on technology, growth, and strategic grant investment. She is committed to helping communities leverage innovation and funding opportunities to support infrastructure development, business growth, and long-term sustainability.

Stanton holds a naster of business administration (MBA) from Wayne State College and has worked extensively with municipalities, nonprofit organizations, and regional partners. She resides in Laurel with her husband Scott, and is deeply invested in the success and sustainability of rural communities throughout Northeast Nebraska.
