SEW MUCH FUN — On Sunday, April 12, a group of family members of Mia Morfeld came together for an afternoon and evening of sewing blankets to be donated. Fourteen blankets were donated to Children's Nebraska in Omaha (where she stayed for more than a month) by Forever Mia. Gathered together on Sunday to make the blankets were the following family members, with relation to Mia and town listed in parentheses: Lynne Deyo (cousin of Battle Creek), Valerie Morfeld (grandmother of Norfolk), Xavier Morfeld (twin brother of Osmond), Sarah Morfeld (mother of Osmond), Mary Jensen (great-aunt of Winside) and Shari Steiner (great-aunt of Norfolk)
