OSMOND — Kaleigh Miller, a graduating senior at Osmond High School, has signed to play basketball for Central Community College Raiders located in Columbus. Central Community College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and is part of the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC ).
Basketball Coach Bradley Wright commented, “Throughout her four years, Kaleigh had played with a lot of energy and improved each year. Her senior year, Kaleigh earned second team all-conference, voted on by other conference coaches. By the time the season came to a close, Kaleigh had her name all over the school record books, breaking five records through her career. She finished with records of total rebounds in a season, 302; offensive rebounds
in a season, 161, and blocks in a season, 71. She also broke two single game school records with total rebounds in a game with 23, and blocks in a game with 9. Kaleigh Miller was a team captain this year. She led by example, was a great role model, and team leader.”
Kaleigh is the daughter of Monte and Cindy Miller of Osmond.
