OSMOND — One of the smallest classes of Osmond High School will graduate on Saturday, May 9. Eleven seniors will walk across the stage to accept their diplomas. This is the lowest number since 1935, when 10 seniors graduated from OHS. Commencement ceremonies will take place in the OHS gym at 2 p.m.
Honor Students Named
The four top-ranking seniors will present speeches during the ceremonies. In addition, the next two highest-ranking seniors will deliver the welcome and farewell for the program. Introducing the speakers will be Superintendent Skip Bremer.
Valedictorian of the Class of 2026 is Piper Hoffman, daughter of Terry and Kayla Hoffman. The salutatorian this year is Jade Halsey, daughter of Jared Halsey, Tamarie Vogt and Rebecca Fletcher, and ranking third is Jack Berg, son of Jason and Heather Berg.
The fourth-ranking senior is Meagan Wagner, daughter of Chris and Robin Wagner. Ranking fifth is Ava Reikofski, daughter of Jay and Michelle Reikofski, who will deliver the welcome. Sixth-ranking is Abigail Brown, who will give the farewell address. Abi is the daughter of Amber Brown and Jason Brown.

The Program
The processional for the ceremonies will be played by the Osmond High School band, directed by Christalin Ginn.
In addition to addresses by members of the senior class, the program includes presentation of American Legion Post 326 Awards by Roger Johnson, commander of American Legion Post 326, and musical selec tions by the concert band and senior high chorus.
The band will perform “From Now On” arranged by Paul Murtha. The chorus will perform “Remember Me,” arranged by Roger Emerson.
Presenting the Class of 2026 will be Superintendent Bremer, after which diplomas will be awarded by Board of Education Member Michelle Reikofski. The recessional will be presented by members of the graduating class.
Serving as escorts are juniors Ad- dison von Rentzell and Kaleb Gardner.
Senior Selections
The motto chosen by the Class of 2026 is "Be yourself, everyone else is already taken,” — Oscar Wilde. The class song is “Don’t You (Forget About Me),” by Simple Minds. The class flower is orange rose, while the chosen colors are orange and black. The class sponsor is Kaylen Tunink.
