OSMOND — Two young adult members of Immanuel Lutheran Church
were confirmed during services on Sunday, April 19, with Rev. Brian Tuma officiating at the 9 a.m. service. The Rite of Confirmation included introduc -
tion of the confirmands.
Hymns sung during the service included “Shepherd Of Tender Youth,” “Christ Be My Leader” and “Go, My Children, With My Blessing,” as well as Holy Communion hymns “Lord, Help Us Ever To Retain,” “What Is This Bread” and “My Faith Looks Up To Thee.”
Members of the confirmation class, their parents and their confirmation verses were: Alyvia Grace Koehler, daughter of Jared Koehler and Amanda Koehler. Her confirmation verse is: 'Do not let your adorning be external-the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear- but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.' 1 Peter 3:3-4 Sierra Faye Koehler, daughter of Landon and Elisha Koehler. Her confir - mation verse is: 'The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him,' Psalm 28:7
