OSMOND — Osmond Public Library director LaVail Aschoff stated Monday that the staff is excited to announce support for a new outdoor musical instrument project that will enhance the library’s outdoor space for residents and visitors of all ages.
Donations toward the project have been received from many charitable groups — thanks to the generosity of the Brandon Gerdes Memorial Foundation, along with support from Forever, Mia and a grant from the Pierce County Tourism Board. The library extended their sincere appreciation to these organizations for their generosity, commitment and assistance.
Planning and coordination for the project have involved members of the Osmond Public Library Board, the Osmond Public Library Foundation Board and Community HOME Team, whose collaborative efforts hav helped move the project forward.
The outdoor instruments are expected to arrive later this summer. Community members interested in helping with installation and landscaping are encouraged to contact the library for more information.
