When I’m traveling for leisure and unless I’m in a hurry, I prefer the two-lane back roads for navigating between the point of departure and that of arrival. It’s brings me back to Earth; to my roots, so to speak. Sometimes the sights and scenery are beautiful and quaint, sometimes not so much.
