INDEPENDENT READERS WALK - First grader Eli Dickey was the first Independent Reader for the 2026-27 school year. He accomplished this milestone last week, and was followed closely behind by Claire Bahr. When Osmond students achieve Independent Reader status, they take their "Independent Reader Walk" through a lineup of elementary students and teachers, receiving congratulations and "high fives" from them, and receive a certificate and medal. Their pictures are taken with their teacher, Patricia Marks, as well as one with Superintendent Skip Bremer and Elementary Principal Paige Parsons, and one with their family members. Eli is the son of Bradon and Madeline Dickey, while Claire is the daughter of Brett and Lacey Bahr.
