First general election voter registration deadline approaching
Nebraska's first voter registration deadline for the general election is fast approaching. Friday, Oct. 18, is the final day that Nebraskans can register to vote: – Online (by midnight), – By mail (postmarked Oct. 18), – By secure drop box, – At a state agency (DMV, DHHS, Dept. of Ed.), – Via deputy registrar or – Via personal agent. “Eligible Nebraskans should ensure that their voter registration is up to date or submit a voter registration applica - tion if they aren't registered to vote in Nebraska,” Secretary of State Bob

Going to the highest bidder
The Osmond High School junior class auction was held Thursday, Oct. 10, after the Osmond-Plainview volleyball game. The class raised a total of $4,675, which will go toward prom expenses. Because auctioneer Joe Aschoff was unable to be there, principal Kurt Polt served as auctioneer. LINCOLN – For the week ending Oct. 6, 2024, there were 6.9 days suit- able for fieldwork, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Topsoil moisture supplies rated 36% very short, 40% short, 23% adequate, and 1% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 30% very short, 43% short, 26% adequate, and 1% surplus.
