Hoffman receives Neihardt scholarship
OSMOND – Callie Hoffman of Osmond has been awarded the John G. Neihardt Scholarship from Wayne State College. The Neihardt Scholarship includes a full tuition award, up to 18 credit hours per semester for four years, along with full cost of housing.

RANDOLPH – On Dec. 29 and 30, the Osmond-Randolph Hawks competed in the Randolph Holiday Tournament, and brought home the silver medals after defeating the Winside Wildcats and falling to the Stuart Broncos.

Cattle on feed down 1%
LINCOLN – Nebraska feedlots, with capacities of 1,000 or more head, contained 2.58 million cattle on feed on Dec. 1, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. This inventory was down 1% from last year.
