Visitation was Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Osmond City Hall, with a 7 p.m. Vigil Service followed by a Ro- sary. Deacon Doug Tunink officiated.

A Nurse Honor Guard presentation in honor of Ashley followed the Rosary.

Ashley Marie Moes was born Dec.

18, 1991, in Norfolk to Cory and Julie (Zimmerer) Moeller, and passed away on Sept. 2, 2026. Ashley graduated from Wayne High School in 2010 and went on to pursue her passion for caring for others through nursing, earning her RN, BSN through UNMC at Northeast Community College.

Nursing was more than a career for Ashley; it was a reflection of who she was. She had a heart of gold, a natural ability to care for people, and a way of making those around her feel seen and loved. Her patients enjoyed visiting with her, and it didn’t take long before they were hearing stories about the people she loved most, especially her children. Ashley married her high school sweetheart, Jordan Moes, on Aug. 10, 2013. Together, they built a beautiful life on the Moes Family Farm and were blessed with three amazing children, Megan, Jace, and Riley. Above everything else, Ashley was a devoted and loving mother. Her children were her entire world, and she put them first in everything she did.

Whether she was shopping with the girls, fishing with Jace, or camping with the whole family, Ashley was happiest when she was with her kids.

Anyone who knew her knew just how deeply and fiercely she loved them.

Ashley also had an incredible love for people. She never met a stranger and had a smile that could make anyone feel welcome. She was kind, generous, outgoing, and always willing to help someone in need. She loved visiting, laughing, and making connections wherever she went. Ashley had a way of making ordinary moments feel special, and the love she gave so freely will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Ashley was preceded in death by her husband, Jordan Moes; her grandfathers, Larry Moeller and Robert Zimmerer; her great-grandmother, Margaret “Grannie” Drobny; and her great-grandmother, Rose Aguirre. She is survived by her beloved children, Megan, Jace, and Riley; her parents, Cory and Julie (Zimmerer) Moeller of Yankton; her brother, Curtis (Mykah) Moeller of Niobrara, and their children, Bodee, Linnie, and Josie; her grandmother, Rosalie (Mark) Rohlf of Sioux City; and her grandmother, Marlene Moeller of Creighton. Ashley is also survived by her parents-in-law, Brian and Jolene (Schulte) Moes of Osmond; sister-inlaw, Marie (Tony) Olinger of Owatonna, MN, and their children, Reid, Evy, and Layne; her brother-in-law, Chad (Katie) Moes of Omaha, and their children, Harper, Lila, and Asher; her brother-in-law, Tyler (Carissa) Moes of Wausa, and their children, Nixon, Lawson, Thea, and Renna; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Ashley’s life was centered around love; love for her children, her family, her patients, and the many people fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness, laughter, beautiful smile, and enormous heart will never be forgotten. The love she poured into those around her will live on, especially through Megan, Jace, and Riley.
