OSMOND — Funeral services for Elaine Meta Elizabeth Timmerman, age 91, of Osmond, were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Osmond. Rev. Brian Tuma officiated the service. Inter ment was held at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Osmond. Organist will be Lori Koehler for the congregational hymns, 'Here I Am Lord,' 'Savior, Like A Shepherd Lead Us' and 'How Great Thou Art.' Pallbearers will be grandsons Jason Hanson, Chad Brummels, Blake Brummels, Evan Timmerman, Tucker Timmerman, Keaton Timmerman, Dylan Wieneke, Logan Wieneke and Carson Wieneke. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters Tara Voss, Trisha Petersen, Angela Stech, Renae Cunningham, Sarah Andersen, Kari Tunink and Emily Schumacher.

Visitation was held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, also at the church in Osmond.

Elaine passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, at The Heritage at Fountain Point in Norfolk. Stonacek Memorial Chapel in Osmond is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials

may be to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Osmond.

Elaine was born July 29, 1934, to Robert and Meta (Gloe) Kumm at Osmond. She was baptized on Aug. 19, 1934, at Immanuel Lutheran by Pastor Eric Holstein. She attended Immanuel Lutheran Parochial School through eighth grade and was confirmed on March 30, 1947, by the Rev. Theo Wi eting. Elaine graduated from Osmond High School in 1951 and continued to help at home following graduation. On June 5, 1955, she was married to Lloyd Timmerman at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Osmond. After marriage she continued to help with the farm operation in the Mclean, Bloomfield and Osmond area while raising a family. This union was blessed with five children — Cindy, Susan, Sandra, Roger, and Shelly. In 1989, the couple moved to a new home in Osmond. She was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Osmond. Elaine always enjoyed her family.

She is survived by children Cindy (Tim) Lindquist of Randolph, Susan (Vern) Hanson of Bloomfield, Sandy (Ed) Brummels of Osmond, Roger (Patty) Timmerman of Osmond, and Shelly Wieneke and friend Ryan Fix of Atkinson; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Robert (LaVerne) Kumm of Lincoln, and sister-in-law Hattie Kumm of Osmond.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Lloyd Timmerman; parents Robert and Meta; siblings, Lester who died in infancy, Harland Kumm, Glen Kumm, Kenneth Kumm, Milford Kumm, Alice Schoonover, and Elizabeth Herbolsheimer; son-in-law Mark Frevert in 1986; daughter-in-law Mary Timmerman and granddaughter Andrea Timmerman in 1994.
