Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk. Interment was held on Feb. 14, 2026, at St.
Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in rural Pierce. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the family to be used for a memorial in Ron's name.
Ron passed away on Friday, Jan.
9, 2026, at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk as the result of a vehicle accident. Stonacek Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Ron was born on Aug. 28, 1956, in Norfolk to Gerald and Darlene (Bellar) Woslager. He attended grade school at a rural country district school in rural Pierce, then attended grade school at St. Joseph's Catholic School in Pierce. Ron graduated from Pierce High School in 1974. He later attended Northeast Community College, graduating with an associates business degree. Ron married Jean O'Neal on July 15, 1977, at St.
Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierce.
After marriage, they farmed for 11 years until Ron went back to college.
After college, Ron worked for Farmer Mutual Insurance for three years, Goodyear for 13 years, Battle Creek Coop/Farmers Pride until 2001. He then managed plants at Osmond and Pierce until he retired. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, boating, and spending time with his family. Ron was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierce, Knights of Columbus and past Parish Council, and was a Pierce High School board member, and Pierce Golf Course board member. Ron was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in 2017.
Survivors include his wife Jean Woslager of Pierce; sons CJ (Amber) Woslager of Ashland, NE, Brett Woslager of Omaha and Corey (Erica) Woslager of Lincoln; four grandchildren; father Gerald Woslager of Pierce; siblings Sharon (Richard) Schnoor of Norfolk, Karen Schnoor of Pierce, and Roger (Deb) Woslager of Pierce; sister-in-law Kathy (John) Rebensdorf of Pierce, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Darlene Woslager, and brother Douglas Woslager.
