PONCA – The 2024 spring meeting of the Omaha Archdiocese Council of Catholic Women has been set for May 7 in Ponca.
The meeting, which is for all Catholic women in the Omaha Archdiocese, is going to be held in the basement of St. Joseph’s Church Hall, 420 W. Second St. There is a ramp outside the south entrance and a parking lot at the rear of the church to the south.
The itinerary starts at 9:30 a.m. with registration and coffee and rolls, while an executive meeting, followed by a general meeting at 10:45 a.m., lunch and commission/committee reports to follow throughout the day with bylaws reading No. 1. The day will conclude with Mass at 2 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a Penny and a Prayer collections from their parishes and/or councils for the Archdiocesan Vocations Fund. The seminarians are thankful.
All Catholic women are invited and encouraged to attend, sharing in the activities of the day with their fellow Council of Catholic Women of the Omaha Archdiocese.
Attendees should plan to hear the latest from the commissions and committees. Updates will include Spirituality Day, Diocesan and National Conventions, dates of the next meeting and upcoming events.
