“The Wedding Dress Sewing Circle” is by Jennifer Ryan. Renowned fashion designer Cressida Westcott loses both her home and her design house in the London Blitz and goes to the family manor house, hoping her niece Violet Westcott will welcome her. Violet is thrilled, but then she gets her conscription letter. Meanwhile, the local vicar’s daughter, Grace Carlisle, asks Cressida to help mend her mother’s wedding gown. Cressida and the local Sewing Circle mend wedding dresses for brides across the country. This book is in large print.

“Code 6” is by James Grippando. Aspiring playwright Kate Gamble wants to release a script about the dark side of Big Data that she’s been secretly researching for years.

Her father, Christian Gamble, is the CEO of a private data integration company whose clients include the CIA and most counterterrorism organizations. He would disapprove of the script. “To the Bone” is a David Wolf novel by Jeff Carson. Chief Detective David Wolf’s son has a new girlfriend whose father is murdered. She asks Wolf to bring them justice. Wolf enlists the help of a small-town sheriff and a retired police dog to find clues at a dig site in western Colorado. Secrets have been entombed here for eons, and people are dying to keep them that way. This book is in regular print. “The Women” is by Kristin Hannah. Frances “Frankie” McGrath was raised and sheltered by her conservative parents in Southern California. When her brother ships out to Vietnam in 1965, Frankie joins the Army Nurse Corps. Frankie is overwhelmed by all that she experiences in Vietnam. Each day, she sees life and death. Friendships can be strong or shattered in an instant. The war is just the beginning for Frankie and her friends as they return to a changed and divided country. This book is in regular print.
