OSMOND – Committees made up of board of education members from the Wausa and Osmond school districts met on April 10 in a closed meeting.
Osmond Superintendent Skip Bremer noted the committee meeting gave both school districts an opportunity to share updates on next year’s football, wrestling and FFA cooperatives.
“The committees also have a chance to brainstorm other future partnerships,” he said. “All information from committee meetings are taken back to the full board as committees do not take action items – only board meetings can do so.”
As per the school districts’ partnership agreement, full boards and separate committees from Wausa and Osmond will both meet at minimum twice a year.
“We look forward to continuing to find ways to make the Osmond-Wausa districts’ partnership better serve the needs of all our students,” Bremer said.
Wausa’s next regular school board meeting has been scheduled for 8 p.m. May 13.
