KEARNEY – The Wausa High School FBLA Chapter saw success at the 2024 Nebraska FBLA State Leadership Conference.
Wausa had a national qualifier at the state FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) event in Visual Design: Seniors Holly Johnson, Kate Lundberg and Sienna West, second place. The conference was held April 11-13 in Kearney.
The other awards for Wausa are: - Business Plan: Seniors Hadley Vanness and Addison Wynia, fourth place.
- Digital Video Production: Seniors Claire Kumm and Leah Poellot, seventh place.
- Future Business Educator: Senior Addison Wynia, eighth place.
- Public Service Announcement: Sophomores Braydon Hoesing and Luke Woockman, eighth place.
- Job Interview: Senior Holly Johnson, honorable mention.
Wausa also was awarded the Largest Chapter Membership for Class D with 59 members.
The 2024 FBLA National Leadership Conference for high school and middle school students will be held on June 29-July 2 in Orlando, Fla.
