CREIGHTON – The Knox County Right to Life group held its monthly meeting April 19 at the Creighton Public Library.
The meeting was opened with prayer. The secretary’s report was read, and there were no corrections. The treasurer’s report followed and was approved as read.
Naoma Macke led the group and members’ reports were given on the recent Family, Career and Community Leaders of America event held in February. Naoma informed the group of a website with much information called National Right to Life News.
Discussion was held regarding putting ads in the local newspapers to celebrate Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, and members will seek out sources for donations for the above.
The summer local parade events also were discussed and it was decided to participate in Creighton’s Berry Pepper Days in June. The meeting closed with prayer.
The next meeting is 6:30 p.m., May 31, at the Creighton Public Library.
