WAUSA – The Wausa Auditorium gym will be closed until Jan. 5 for the court floor to be redone.
No one is allowed on the floor until that date so it is able to fully cure, just in time for the start of Wausa youth basketball league games. The work is being done by Court Floors LLC of Battle Creek for a cost of $1,500.
Also, this is a reminder for everyone to respect the auditorium space and follow the rules posted there. People are asked to remind their children to pick up after themselves and to follow up with them to ensure that they have. There are new security cameras in the auditorium for safety reasons since there have been issues with vandalism during the past year.
