Trull and her students opened the Dalhart Animal Wellness Group and Sanctuary (DAWGS). Trull and her students discovered the difficulties in opening an animal shelter, but they also learned compassion and responsibility. They also dealt with opposition to having a shelter in their town. This book is in large print.
