NORFOLK – Northeast Community College recently had 99 student-athletes named to the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference’s 2024 Spring Academic All-Region Teams, including three from Wausa.
The following Wausa student-athletes earned the distinction of Academic All-Region First Teams: Taylor Alexander, softball; Jaxon Claussen, men’s basketball; and Alexa Cunningham, volleyball.
To qualify, First Team performers had to receive a 3.5 grade-point average or above while Second Team members earned between a 3.0 and a 3.49 GPA.
