WAUSA – The 2024-25 academic year will be starting soon, and with that comes the need for school supplies.
The Wausa Parent Council is hosting its annual “Stuff the Bus” event again and is asking for help to supply Wausa Elementary students with they need to have a successful academic year.
Donation boxes have been placed at each church in the community and at the Lied Lincoln Township Library.
There also will be a donation box at the Wausa Farmers’ Markets during the rest of the summer.
The council also will have a donation box at the back-to-school open house from 6-7 p.m. Aug. 13.
Some of the most needed items include No. 2 pencils, tissues, disinfectant wipes, composition notebooks, dry-erase markers, highlighters and folders of various colors.
For more information and items to donate, people may check out the council’s Facebook page.
