Dear Editor: ACE, the Public Alliance for Community Energy, is again participating as a natural gas supplier in the upcoming Nebraska Choice Gas program. The 2024 Choice Gas selection period begins April 4 and runs through April 24.
Formed by Nebraska communities to ensure competition in the Choice Gas program to benefit Nebraska, ACE remains true to its mission of providing competition as the only community-owned natural gas supplier in the program.
Local control remains at the heart of ACE with each of ACE’s 75 member communities, including the Village of Wausa, having a representative on ACE’s Board of Directors.
ACE recently distributed $350,000 to its ACE member communities, including Wausa, as part of its revenue return program. Since its formation, ACE has returned nearly $4 million to Nebraska communities, including nearly $28,000 to Wausa. These funds are used in many ways for the betterment of each community.
Along with its mission of providing competition in the program, ACE also serves as an advocate for natural gas consumers in the program.
ACE’s success is largely due to Nebraska communities working together for the benefit of their residents. To learn more about ACE and its mission, visit www.ACEenergy.org.
By choosing ACE as your natural gas supplier, you are supporting Nebraska communities through a community-owned hometown success story that was created and exists for the benefit of Nebraskans.
