BLOOMFIELD – The Piecemakers Quilt Club met on March 21 at the Good Samaritan Society’s Sunset View assisted living facility in Bloomfield.
Jan Hoebelheinrich hosted the meeting. In addition to Jan, those present were Bonnie Suhr, Lois Tangeman, Garnet Anderson, Barb Gillilan, Carmella Kinkaid and Carolyn Hall.
Cutting instructions for quilt-as-you-go lessons were given. Members can bring what blocks they get done at the next meeting.
Raffle quilts were discussed. There will be two this year – one Americana and one Christmas.
Jan brought three baby blankets she finished for charity and Barb has the binding to finish on a larger charity quilt. Lois has the top done on one;Carmella has one finished.
Garnet gave information on a trunk show set for April 29 in Norfolk given by Krista Moser.
The club’s next meeting will be on April 11. Garnet will host.
