Polt is Cornhusker Marching Band member
LINCOLN – Kaden Polt of Osmond is part of the University of NebraskaLincoln’s 300-member Cornhusker Marching Band, which will make its 2024 football season debut Aug. 31 at Memorial Stadium with pregame and halftime performances at Nebraska’s home opener against UTEP.

Nebraska cattle on feed up 2%
LINCOLN – Nebraska feedlots, with capacities of 1,000 or more head, contained 2.32 million cattle on feed on August 1, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. This inventory was up 2% from last year.
