County officials attend Nebraska Association of County Officials annual conference
KEARNEY – County Treasurer Christine Bahr, County Assessor Jean Lubke, County Clerk Shannon Wragge, Veterans Service Officer Brett Rix, County Attorney Ted Lohrberg, Zoning Administrator Heather McWhorter and Clerk of District Court Vickie Prince had the opportunity to attend the Nebraska Association of County Officials (NACO) Annual Conference in Kearney Dec. 13-15. It was a highly attended event that brought together more than 800 county officials to discuss important issues impacting communities throughout Nebraska. 12/27/2023 12:00 AM

I need a little Christmas. . .
The Osmond elementary students, as well as the junior and senior high students, held their annual Christmas concerts on Monday, Dec. 11. The fifth and sixth grade bands started off the evening with several numbers, followed by some songs by the kindergarten class. The firsth through sixth grade classes then gave their program, "I Need a Little Christmas Vacation." After a short break, the junior high and senior high choruses each sang a couple songs. This was followed by the junior high with two numbers and the senior high concer band with three. The evneing ended with the concert bands and mixed choruses playing and singing some holiday favorites, with the audience joining in. 12/20/2023 12:00 AM

OSMOND – This past week, the Osmond wrestling team competed at their home meet, and what a job they did! Each wrestler medaled, with Caleb Vinson and Carson Bolz received first, while Kaleb Gardner and Jaxon Vinson received second, Mason True received third, and Nicolas Velasco got his first two wins at a varsity meet and got seventh. 12/20/2023 12:00 AM
