Hawks win rematch against Hartington-Newcastle
On Friday, Feb. 16, the Osmond-Randolph Hawks squared off with the Hartington-Newcastle Wildcats. The two teams had played on Feb. 1 in the Lewis & Clark Tournament with the Wildcats taking home a 51-39 win.

Apply to attend Nebraska Ag Youth Institute
LINCOLN The Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA) is currently accepting applications to attend one of the biggest ag youth outreach events in the state. The Nebraska Agricultural Youth Institute (NAYI) brings together hundreds of high school juniors and seniors for a week to learn more about agriculture, Nebraska’s number one industry.

OSMOND – Pfanny’s Farm, which has been in operation for 13 years at their location 2.5 miles north of the Highway 81-20 junction, recently announced the winner of their 2024 Hero at Heart Award. This is an award they have been presenting for five years.

St. Mary’s soup dinner is Sunday
OSMOND – St. Mary’s Catholic School will host a soup dinner on Sunday, Feb. 25. It will take place at the Osmond city auditorium from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Homemade chicken noodle soup, chili and taverns will be served, along with homemade dessert. Also back this year is an auction of donated items, beginning at 12:30 p.m.
