Summit Contracting relocates Osmond employees to Norfolk
NORFOLK – In an effort to ensure high-quality customer service, promote team collaboration, and improve operational efficiency, leaders from Summit Contracting announced they will be relocating the five employees who currently work at the Osmond facility to their Norfolk office. The Osmond location will be closing effective Dec. 31, 2024.

Save the date for Christmas Wishes
OSMOND – Osmond residents have been asked to save the date for the community Christmas Wishes gathering, planned for Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Osmond city auditorium. Hosted by the Osmond Sons of the American Legion, it combines an evening of entertainment with honoring local residents and assisting those who could use a little help at Christmastime.

Veterans Day to be held on Monday
OSMOND – The annual Veterans Day program in Osmond will take place on Monday, Nov. 11, and will pay tribute to those who gave time to defending the country and maintaining its freedom. The program will take place at 10 a.m. in the Osmond Community School gym. The address will be given by Paul Hughes (U.S. Air Force Ret.).
