Nebraska June 1 grain stock numbers released
LINCOLN – Nebraska corn stocks in all positions on June 1, 2024 totaled 433 million bushels, up 5% from 2023, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. Of the total, 250 million bushels are stored on farms, up 9% from a year ago. Off-farm stocks, at 183 million bushels, are up 1% from last year.

Nebraska hog inventory down 3%
LINCOLN – Nebraska inventory of all hogs and pigs on June 1, 2024, was 3.65 million head, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. This was down 3% from June 1, 2023, and down 3% from March 1, 2024.
