Kumm is grand champion in air rifle competition
Nickolas Kumm, who will be a freshman this fall at Osmond High School, competed in the junior division shotgun and .22 rifle competition at the Knox County fair on Saturday, Aug. 3. He earned a red ribbon in shotgun competi- tion and a red ribbon on his .22 rifle shooting, using only iron sights in that competition.

USDA updates farm loan programs to increase financial freedom, resilience, profitability

Cowboy Trail section near Norfolk reopens
The Cowboy Recreation and Nature Trail section just west of Norfolk now has reopened to the public after repairs were made to stabilize the embankment and trail surface from the 2019 flood.
