NORFOLK – Private family service for Robin Reed, 67, of Norfolk, formerly of Pierce, was held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Rev. Josh Alloway officiated the service. Private family burial was held at Prospect View Cemetery in Pierce. Visitation was from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 13, at Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk. In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made to the family for a later designation or to a school program that Robin taught or coached at. Robin passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk. Stonacek Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Robin was born on July 8, 1956, in Osmond to Vernon “Chick” and Dolores “Dee” (Henderson) Reed. He graduated from Osmond High School in 1974, received his Bachelors in Education at Yankton College, as well as San Francisco College of Mortuary Science degree in 1981. Robin married Dona Ray on June 14, 1980 in Yankton, SD. Robin worked for his father-in-law as a funeral director for four years in Yankton and Bloomfield before finding his love for teaching 05/22/2024 12:00 AM
