The USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service releases their detailed cattle inventory in January every year. The last peak in herd inventory was 2019 at 31.6 million cows. Last year’s report was down 11% from that at 28.2 million. Her dad took her on Saturday morning but had other commitments the rest of the weekend. So Rich asked Kelly, her granddad, if he would want to take her hunting.
