LINCOLN – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently announced that it will begin issuing more than $2.14 billion in payments to eligible agricultural producers, and landowners – providing much needed support through key conservation and safety-net programs. The first Northeast Nebraska Ag Conference will be Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Lifelong Learning Center on the campus of Northeast Community College in Norfolk.
