Eight students named to Academic All-State
OSMOND – The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) has announced the student recipients of the spring 2024 Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association (NCPA) Academic All-State Awards. Since 2006 this NSAA Awards Program has recognized students who meet the criteria for nomination by their school in the season of their activity.

School board shows support for FBLA members
OSMOND – The Monday, May 13, school board meeting began with a presentation by the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members who qualified for the national FBLA convention. Those who qualified include Matthew Alderson, James Doyle, Keely Gubbels, Anabelle Vinson, Callie Hoffman and Erica Heiman. The FBLA advisor is Kaylen Tunink.

Legion pancake benefit is Sunday
OSMOND - Members of Ameri can Legion Post 326 will host a pan- cake day on Sunday, May 19. An ad on another page of this issue invites residents of the area to the city auditorium between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Three Tigers qualify for state track meet
HARTINGTON - The Osmond track and field team qualified three boys to compete in the state meet next weekend in Omaha at Burke Stadium. The District D-3 meet was held at the Hartington Sports Complex on Wednesday, May 8. The first qualifier was senior long jumper Hunter Buchanan. Hunter hit his longest distance on his second attempt that measured 20 ft., 2 in. Winning the event was Hartington’s Cole Rosener with a mark of 20 ft., 9.5 in. Hunter also qualified in the
