Adventurous programs at the library
The Lied Lincoln Township Library in Wausa hosted 4-H Youth Development Extension Assistant Kristine Tramp with Nebraska Extension in Knox County for summer reading July 15-16. This year, the two events, part of the 4-H Summer Reading Connections Program, included “Adventures in the Forest” and “Adventures in Food Science.” Each program included many crafts and hands-on learning activities – such as what Emmett Eifert is pictured doing with a magnifying glass – as well as snacks and reading opportunities for youth. The overall summer reading theme this year is “Adventure Begins at Your Library.”
