WAUSA – Carissa (Batenhorst) Moes and Tyler Moes of Wausa are the parents of a daughter, Thea Elise, born Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. She weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19¾ inches long. She is welcomed by siblings Nixon, 3, and Lawson, 1. Tigers run at Crofton invitational
CROFTON – The Osmond cross country team traveled to the Lakeview Golf Course for the Crofton invitational on Thursday Sept. 26. This is a very competitive course with tough teams such as South Sioux City, Wayne, Norfolk Catholic, Crofton and Bloomfield-Wausa. Bloomfield-Wausa's junior, Luke Wookman, won the race in a time of 18:09, easily outdistancing the field. Mason True was the top Osmond runner, finishing in 27th place in a time of 20:30.77. Jack Berg came in at 37th place and covered the course in a time of 21:54.87 and Donovan Heiman was 42nd. Donovan’s time was 23:00.51. 10/02/2024 12:00 AM
