Farmers have been in the fields, working long hours lately to get the harvest in while the weather is good. Although there have been a couple nights when temperatures got into the 30s, for the most part the weather has been fairly decent, with temperatures in the 70s and 80s. According to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service, soybean harvest in Nebraska is at around 46%, and the corn harvest is at 27%. As far as the weather, the temperatures will continue in the 70s and 80s, with no sign of rain for the next couple of weeks.
