Goodbye to summer. . .
Goodbye to summer. . .
Knox Koehler, Toby Koehler, Trenton Wisely and Tripp Koehler (top photo) were some of the very few kids who were at Osmond Municipal Pool on Saturday afternoon. The boys played a wild game of pool basketball. Zoey Halsey (bottom right) swam leisurely around the same area of the pool and tried to stay out of the way of the craziness. Meanwhile, Jade Halsey (bottom left) watched from above on the lifeguard chair. Life guards on duty Saturday said there hadn’t been very many kids there in the past few days because the weather had been too cool. The temperatures were in the mid-70s most of last week and on Sunday, the last day of the swimming pool season, it was cloudy and windy, and only reached into the lower 70s. The rest of this week will return to regular August temperatures, reaching into the low to mid-80s, with a chance of thunderstorms on Wednesday. 08/14/2024 12:00 AM
